Project Exergy

During this week, I have been working on a project called ”Project Exergy”. Me and three others have done a research on how to run a facility with a exothermic reaction. We ended up making a miniature district heating system running on the heat produced by the neutralisation of sodium hydroxide and sulfur acid. It took quite a long time working on making the miniature and to tweak it to reduce heat losses. We even visited Kemira (the company responsible for Helsingborg’s district heating system) to consult on how to make it better, but we had a really fun time and we learned a lot.
